[INDIANAPOLIS, IN – August 20, 2025—] THG Automation, an Indianapolis-based leader in robotic welding and cutting automation, is excited to announce its participation at FABTECH 2025, North America’s premier event for the metalworking industry. THG will be at Booth B13053 in McCormick Place’s North Hall from September 8-11, where they will be showcasing a comprehensive lineup of their advanced collaborative robotic systems and solutions. Additional systems will also be on display at the Universal Robots (B13045) and Quantum Mechanics (B21051) booths.
Attendees are invited to join THG for live demonstrations, which will include:
- THG TIG Welding System – Featuring a Universal Robots UR10e paired with a Fronius MagicWave push/pull TIG setup.
- THG Laser Welding System with Wire Feed – A Universal Robots UR20 equipped with an IPG LightWELD 2000XR and wire feeder.
- Multi-Process Welding Cell (Multi-Op) – A UR20 with a Fronius iWave demonstrating automatic tool changing between MIG and TIG. Includes a dual-table setup with a 400 lb rotational positioner for flexible part handling.
- Track-Mounted MIG Welding System – A Universal Robots on a 4-meter linear track with a Fronius TPS/i CMT power source, integrated on a 5×10 Siegmund table. Built for larger and more complex weldments requiring extended reach.
- Mobile Welding Platform – A system on a portable platform. Includes a sidecar option for manual welding switchover and coordinated motion on a drop-center positioner. Perfect for versatile shop floor setups.
- Robotic Plasma Cutting System – A UR12 integrated with a Hypertherm Powermax85 Sync on a plasma cutting table, providing precise and efficient robotic cutting capability.
To celebrate the close of FABTECH, THG will be hosting a “Customer Appreciation Happy Hour“ on September 10 from 3–5 PM at their booth, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to network and connect with the team.
